The message inside this card is "I turn to ducks" with a small illustration of two ducks.  From a poem by F W Harvey - a captured first world war soldier who was inspired by a drawing of ducks made on the wall of his barracks by a fellow prisoner-of-war at Holzminden.  A bit of gentle humour to relieve the care and tension of the world weary.  This card is hand finished on heavyweight silky smooth card (330gsm) selected especially to carry the bright colours. With a luxury wove white envelope (120gsm). Standard size for a cheerful greeting to someone who would appreciate it. Presentation size  -  only if they really like ducks!

64: Trouble with ducks

This rather quirky card was originally designed to celebrate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of my parents.  The background is the Denton Tomb at Hereford Cathedral. A card for looking backwards & forwards;  celebrating the old times & looking forward to all that is yet to come.  A card for friendship; a card for comrades; a card for celebrating or encouraging somebody very special to you. Printed on a heavily textured laid card, with a luxury white envelope.

146: Tho' much is taken

A gentle and sympathetic card for times of bereavement or seperation  -  hand finished on a white hammered board (300gsm) with a heavyweight white wove envelope (120gsm). standard size (A6) as a token of your sympathy. Presentation size (A5):  for the messages of a group of friends or family.

68: Rosey Wreath

Inspirational greetings scribed from the words of Lawrence of Arabia.  Hand finished on a heavy textured card (300gsm) with luxury silky smooth white envelope (135gsm). Standard size (A6) to drop a few words of encouragement or support. Presentation size (A5) for the beginning of a new venture!

86: Dreams

This was my tribute to the tremendous TeamGB at the 2012 Olympic Games.  It was based upon the inspiring anthem sung during the lighting of the cauldron at the climax of the opening ceremony.  The actual words are in some dispute  -  there are several versions floating the net.  I have chosen my two favourites, so there are two versions of this card.  Some of these hands might seem rather odd shapes!  They are actually tracings of the hands of various of the TeamGB athletes! (NB.It has been very difficult (impossible!) to track down a copyright contact for these words.  If anybody would like to point me in the right direction, I would be obliged).

236: Caliban's Dream (hands)

From the poem by Gerald Manley Hopkins.  The message inside left is scribed  "your round me roaming end, & under be my boughs & decorated with another tamarisk ( a symbol of peace-making in the old testament)  -  send this card to create a small space of serenity in the midst of chaos & confusion.  The simplicity of this hand finished design is perfectly complemented by a heavyweight linen finish pure white card (300gsm) with a luxury smooth white envelope (135gsm). Available in both standard (A6) and presentation (A5) size - highly to be recommended.
