Information for ordering cards

 Greetings Cards

• Cards are available in 2 sizes  -  A6 standard (A5 folded), or A5 presentation (A4 folded).  Both sizes fall within the Royal mail  “letter” postage band
• Cards are printed on heavyweight 250 - 330gsm  fine card especially selected to complement the design.
• Hand colouring, finishing & quality control checks for each individual card.
•  100 - 135gsm  luxury white envelopes are provided with all cards unless otherwise stated..
•  Individual cards are presented cello-wrapped.  Collections are presented in gift wallets or luxury gift boxes according to description.

Personalisation

• A short printed personal message can be included in your card for just  £1 per card, or £4.00 per design. (Same message, same card, same size) .  If you order any 20 cards of the same design  etc.then there will be no charge for this service.  Please contact me to discuss your requirements

 

Collections

Fine Selection Boxes

• Orders of any 8 individual folded cards qualify to be sent without cello-wrap in a luxury satin finish gift box for presentation,   A beautiful gift for any occasion. Link for details.

Wallets

• Several collections are available as postcards which are attractively presented in gift wallets without envelopes.  Please check the gallery pages for availability.

Christmas Cards

• Several Christmas designs are available  in multi-packs.  Cards in the multi-packs are usually printed on  linen effect 250gsm  board and are accompanied by 100gsm linen effect envelopes.  They qualify for personalisation services (free for 20 or more cards of the same design, size etc.) but  they do NOT qualify to make up the quantities for a Fine Selection Box.  

Larger Orders

• Larger  orders may qualify for a discount.  Please contact me directly for details.

 

 

Postage & Packing

Rates

• ·A charge of £1.50 + approx 10% of the order cost is payable towards packaging & postage to all UK addresses (Royal Mail second class) .  Maximum postage payable on website transactions is £3.75.  For urgent deliveries & non UK addresses please contact me directly

 

 

Despatch dates

• Cards are usually despatched within 1 week.  Each card is printed individually, by order  -  I do not hold many cards in stock.  I like to wait for the ink to dry completely before overprinting (if required), and again before folding and finishing, so it can take a couple of days before an order is ready for despatch.   St Cuthbert’s House is quite isolated  -  the nearest town is 7 miles away in any direction. I restrict visits for deliveries to the post office etc. to just 3 times/ fortnight.  This might incur a slight delay in you receiving your goods  -  if they are required urgently please let me know & I might be able to revise my routine a little.

Ellie Poo

• St Cuthbert’s House greeting cards are a luxury product, and as such are printed on the very top quality board available.  To minimise environmental impact, this is ordered though the web from UK companies, and insofar as possible delivered through regular postal & delivery services.  Unfortunately it has not yet been possible to source recycled board of a high enough quality to completely replace my current stock or suppliers, however I do have access to a stock of  ultra-eco Ellie-poo card & recycled envelopes which I am happy to substitute for any customer who would prefer it.   Link for details.
